Members of the Rotary Club of Southwest Eureka visited two third-grade classes at Grant Elementary School last week and presented each student in Ms. Crider's and Ms. Kinder’s classes with their own personal dictionary.  The Dictionaries Project has  provided books to thousands of third-grade students as part of the club’s decades-long commitment to students, schools, education and literacy.  Dictionaries were given to 52 students in two classes this month and were given to 80 Alice Birney Elementary School students in three classes earlier in the year.  Presenting the books to students were Project Coordinator Sid Noyes,  Director of Vocational Services Mary Crumley, and Rotarians Greg Dale and Don Chin.  Pictured, left to right:  Junior Vang and Greg Dale.
